Luxury Crewed Catamaran Charter in the British Virgin Islands
Last year, when we set sail in the British Virgin Islands on our first catamaran trip for my 50th Birthday, I thought it was going to be a “once in a lifetime” trip. Well, I was wrong. Once you experience a trip like this, it’s hard to vacation any other way.
We received so many questions since posting our trip of us Island hopping through the British Virgin Islands on a crewed catamaran, that we wanted to answer all of those questions here. If you’d like to see the video we posted on Instagram from this amazing trip, you can watch it here. Let’s jump right into this amazing trip!
The Catamaran: Endless Summer III: 2024 65′ Luxury Lagoon

We were on Endless Summer III a 65-foot luxury catamaran built in 2024. It was absolutely stunning and still had the “new boat” smell!
Onboard features include:
- 5 spacious cabins: 1 King, 3 Queens and 1 split-king bed that can be configured as either two extra-long twin beds or a king-size bed.
- Ensuite private bathrooms in every cabin
- Full air conditioning and each cabin has individual temperature control
- Starlink WiFi to stay connected
- Forward trampolines for ultimate relaxation and ocean views.
- 360-degree flybridge offers the ultimate viewpoint.
Trust me when I say, pictures don’t do this luxury catamaran justice. Our group of 8 (4 couples) had plenty of room to spread out and relax. When we weren’t in the water or exploring a new island, we were laying in the sun on the trampolines, or hanging out in the shade with a drink in our hands. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast in the main cockpit with gorgeous ocean views. After the staff cleaned up from breakfast, it was time to head to the next island. We all loved sitting up on the flybridge to watch our captain put up the sails. We had the best views up there as we sailed through the British Virgin Islands.
The Crew on ESIII
Honestly, the best part of a yacht charter vacation and what truly elevates the experience, is the crew. Endless Summer III has 3 crew members and we loved each one of them. They were professional, kind and took great pride in their role on ESIII. From making sure we always had a fresh drink in our hand, to taking us to the best places and preparing some of the best food we’ve ever had, they were there to make sure we were all having a great time.
- Captain Alex worked with us to create a flexible itinerary and guided us to both must-see locations and lesser-known hidden gems.
- Chef Val curated every meal based on our preferences-like fresh caribbean lobster, seared tuna, steak and beautifully prepared snacks throughout the day.
- Mila (Stew) made sure everything ran seamlessly from daily cabin service to keeping drinks flowing and creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere onboard.
All Inclusive Dining: A Private Chef Experience

OMG, the food was next level. One of the biggest perks of a luxury catamaran charter is the fully customized dining experience. Every day included breakfast, lunch, snack (between lunch and dinner) and a three-course dinner.
Chef Val customized our meals based off of the detailed food preference sheet we filled out several weeks before our trip, and boy, did she deliver! Everything she made was delicious and her presentation was beautiful. Put it this way, our group is still sending pictures of the food we had on board in the group text. All food and drinks are included in the price of your trip. Trust me, you won’t go hungry and you won’t run out of drinks. The crew on ESIII come well prepared to ensure you have the best experience possible.
Onboard Activities Included

There was so much more water toys provided on ESIII than our previous charter. We had 4 stand up paddle boards, 4 sea scooters, snorkeling equipment and a fliteboard e-foil, although none of us were brave enough to try the fliteboard. 😂 When we weren’t stuffing our faces with food and drinks, we were playing around in the water.
The 25′ tender ESIII provides also made it easy for Captain Alex to get us on land so we could explore beautiful white sand beaches and visit iconic beach bars like Tipsy’s on Anegada.
Our Custom BVI Itinerary: Hidden Gems + Iconic Stops

We’ve been to the British Virgin Islands a lot over the last 7 years and we’ve been to most of the iconic BVI stops like Soggy Dollar and Willy T, so this time we wanted something a little different. When we spoke to Captain Alex several weeks before our trip to customize our itinerary, we told him we’d like a mix of “off the beaten path” locations that we haven’t been to before, but definitely wanted to add our favorite island, Anegada, to the list. Together we came up with the perfect itinerary for a 5 night trip.
- Day 1 – Bluff Bay, Beef Island Tortola
- Day 2 – Saba Rock/Bitter End Yacht Club, Virgin Gorda
- Day 3 – Setting Point Anegada (rented Moke’s from Anegada Reef Hotel) and drove to Cow Wreck Beach. Also went to Tipsy’s Beach Bar, Anegada Beach Club, then had dinner at The Lobster Trap.
- Day 4 – Guana Island & Brewers Bay, Tortola
- Day 5 – Bubbly Pool, Jost Van Dyke
- Day 6 – West end Tortola
Even though we’ve been to Anegada several times before, it’s still our favorite island in the BVI’s and ended up being our friends favorite stop too. Anegada is a remote, laid-back island with stunning white sand beaches and the prettiest turquoise water. Even though all of our meals were included on this trip, we opted to have dinner on Island during our time here. It would be a sin to visit Anegada and not get the freshly caught Caribbean lobster…that’s what they’re known for and for good reason! Best lobster we’ve ever had!
What to Pack

Hard sided suitcases are not recommended because they’re difficult to store. It’s best to pack your things in a collapsible duffle bag. Click here for the duffle bag we purchased on Amazon. Truth is, you’ll be in a swim suit and cover-up majority of the time. When you’re not in a swim suit, think casual clothes-shorts, shirts, sundresses and button down shirts for dinners on shore. You’ll be barefoot most of the time as well. Bring a pair of flip flop, water shoes and a pair of sneakers if you plan on doing any hiking. If not, sneakers aren’t necessary.
How to Book Endless Summer III
It’s easy! All you have to do is contact Endless Summer III and they will be in touch with you to talk about dates, pricing, etc. You can also request a quote from ESIII by filling out this form.

Final Thoughts of Endless Summer III: Is It Worth It?
100% yes! ESIII is a 5 star experience from start to finish. The crew takes great pride in providing the best service possible. The hardest part was having to say goodbye. If you want to know what our friends thought of this trip, you can watch it here.
